They say anything and everything has a reason; but lately, I am realising that this rule doesn't apply to me.
Oh, I really like this one! You said so much in such a little poem.
I love seedless grapes.Keshi.
Beautiful---both picture and poem. Thanks for sharing with us.
yeah sparkling wine is awesome...had some while we're in paris...umm...i didn't get drunk 'tho! ;))well written poetry...with invited guest jlo in the haus singing! ;;);))
I love the music. Speaks volumes....And your sweet little poem is gallantly intoxicating. Funny I should read this because just the other night I enjoyed a very fine bottle of this poetic elixir..Enjoyed it to the last drop...And just like the last drop...the third and fourth lines of your second stanza strikes a chord...because.. I must say...( thinking here of circumstances in my life) that...yes...Love is indeed akin to grapes..pressed grapes...smoothened and preciously valued by time when kept in a warming heart.Bravo!..( bowing to you )Ah, I simply must enjoy a glass( or two) tonight to toast your words...Cheers!ps: responded to your perky comment in my bloggy :>
Sorry..I seem to be littering your comment section with my comments..But I have been musing a bit..I just have to say that I love poetry and have secretly written just a few myself ( during moments of feigning lucidity I guess)..I have never blog published anything though..never shown anyone..and there is one I have written so many years ago that is most important to me..tucked away..Reading your poetry inspires me to maybe..someday share it as well...maybe..
Red red wine.....goes to my head..lol

Jac, so glad you're back from hiatus...I live very close to the wine capital of Canada so I am partial to everything that has to do with wine...Poetry and wine or poetry about wine, are right up my alley! :)

Red, red wine makes me feel so fine! :-)I love this post, Jac! I'm just praying that "marinating" in this cellar, "cask" for so many years does not turn me into whine! LOL!
