A Hornbill

Dreams are now wingless, feeble
silvers

A hornbill stay waiting, rain drops
his tears

He choose crying; his soul shrunken,
longing

Alas ! rain drops kept drifting
squirting, sprouting
elsewhere

Hi Jac, What a long bill the Hornbill has, plus a color you can`t mistake. I have never seen one. Do they actually have all the bits of other colors thru their white? I wonder what type of branch it is standing on.
Maybe God is sending down tears for the shape this wiorld is in, as it is still raining and expecting more rain tomorrow.
Glad to see you are posting again.

I always have affinity to peculiar music that has a variety.

I liked it the first time when I heard from the Hevia album, searched to know the name of the song. But it just said track 5 and it remains track 5 to me.
Perhaps you know that it is by Hevia….the Spanish one.

Mazha Varumo, entho ?

Thanks

jac said...

One felt the pause,
one waited the sigh
one whimpered in hope
then saw a smear
a tear drop in air

Oru thulli, mazha thulli
karayunna vezhabal thulli thulli

Thanks for the lines.

Wanderer said...

Lol....
Nice poem.... your poetry has transcended the barriers of language and spilled over to Malayalam !!!!!!!!!...
Nice to note that...
;)

jac said...

Wanderer

I wonder if my try was good... but I like the language.

Thank you for encouraging me.

I like the music you are playing.

Wanderer said...

Hmmmm ... to be frank .... the poem looked more like a nursery rhym ....
but thats how every poet starts off in his life , isnt it....

way to go ...
:)

Wanderer said...

ahem i was refering to this poem

Oru thulli, mazha thulli
karayunna vezhabal thulli thulli

jac said...

êńįħš

It seems that it is drifting far away :)

Hornbills do not like storms, they love just the rain.

jac said...

wanderer

I also mean the poem "oru thulli".

It is just a snippet that came in to my mind which has nothing to do with my expertise in that language.

Unfortunately, I don't have any skill at all with that language.
I can't even read the new 'lipi'

jac said...

starry
It is from a "Hevia" album. Let me know if you are interested. I can give you a link to my music.

jac said...

seema

Welcome to the window to my soul.
Yes, the hornbill will have to wait.

The music is by Hevia. It is Spanish. But I think it is originated from the Islamic quarter of Spain...a very old heritage.
It is beautiful. Delighted to know that you liked it.
Thanks.
